The Frederick Sport Flyers, Inc. will be working on Steve's RV-10 restoration project. We are going to work Saturdays and Wednesdays starting around 9:00 am and Thursday evenings starting around 6:00 pm. We will, of course skip chapter meeting Thursdays. Members are invited to participate in this effort which will be conducted in the Chapter hangar. Progress reports and picture albums can be found in the Photos section. Check back here for a schedule of upcoming work dates and goals.
Wednesday Work Session: 19 February 9:00 am Goal: Work on subassemblies. Continue rough planning on routing of A/C lines, wiring, static tubes, etc. Open finish kit and segregate parts that are needed. Re-seal crate with long lead time parts and take crate offsite for storage. Remove additional floor panels and build plywood protective panels. Mark/mask off permanently installed assemblies that require paint. Mark/Mount antenna backing plates, and mark A/C condenser on floor of fuselage.

Chapter 524 meets the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the EAA Chapter 524 Aviation Education Center which is located at the Frederick Municipal Airport. As you enter the airport, park in the Terminal Parking lot. Walk south past the flight school (yellow building). There are signs on the end of the second row of hangars for the Chapter. Guests are always welcome.
