Cub Work Session #304

A lot of finishing work was accomplished on the Cub today. The carb heat cable was adjusted once again and now it works properly. Robert was able to come help do the ELT test. With that completed, we were able to reinstall the rear seat. A lot of time was devoted to the stubborn wraparound wing root fairings up by the windshield. Jerry, Bob, and Tom finally figured out a way to get them to fit properly. At last the wing root fairings are complete. Neil and Laura Wright came by with STC paperwork for the brakes. This nearly completes our paperwork and log entries. Two required placards were also ordered. We still haven’t heard anything from the folks at Keystone regarding our tach. We plan to call them early next week to check the status. We still have some details to clean up, but the Cub is very nearly complete. The next work session will be Saturday, November 30th at 9:00.
