Cub Work Session #286

Another good turnout today resulted in a lot getting done. The difficult process of applying the lightning bolt on the right side was accomplished with fewer bubbles and other issues than last time. A little practice goes a long way. The glass for the right side swinging window was installed along with all of its metal trim. The window won't go on the airplane until the wings are on. Work was also begun on drilling and fitting the skylight. It still needs to have edges rounded and a few more holes drilled. Another major accomplishment was the installation of the horizontal stabilizers along with the tail brace wires. The wires still need rigging, but aside from that, the operation went pretty smoothly and the elevators can be added next time. The next work session will be Wednesday, September 25th at 9:00.
