We had a small group today, but still made some good progress. The pitot tube was connected to the existing tubing on the airspeed indicator and routed up to where it will connect to the line coming from the wing. All of the engine connections have been made, but today some work was done clamping and tie wrapping cables and wires. A lot of time was spent fighting with adel clamps. Another major task accomplished today was the final installation of the brake lines. This took more time than expected because a lot of the connections were difficult to get to, especially the bolts that hold the brake cylinders down to the floorboards. The Cub is also now official looking with new N numbers on the tail. Some time was also devoted to the Cub hangar. The scaffold was disassembled so Steve Gross could retrieve it. Also the second air compressor was brought over and checked out in preparation for the upcoming workshop. The next work session will be Wednesday, August 14th at 9:00.
