Still more puzzles. Today we had to resort to looking at old photographs to help figure out the exhaust shrouds. Patience and persistence paid off and by the end of the session that task was nearly done. Meanwhile, work continued on installing parts on the firewall. The gascolator was the main focus of attention. We also devoted some time to cleaning up for both the chapter meeting and next week's fly-in. Last Thursday the final coats of Yellow were applied to the fuselage. It is now ready to be brought back to the chapter house in exchange for the other wing. We hope to do that on Saturday. On Tuesday, we hosted three groups of high school students for short sessions on EAA, aircraft construction, and a preflight demonstration. The next work session will be Saturday, May 4th at 9:00.
