Cub Work Session #199

In spite of a small group today, we got a lot done. The final tapes were added to the right wing. With a little ironing to smooth them out, the wing will be ready for the spray booth. The left wing got inter-rib lacing, anti-chafe tape on screw heads and other sharp edges, and a second coat of Poly-Brush. After another close inspection, that wing should be ready to begin covering. Earlier in the week at the paint booth, the control surfaces, landing gear legs, and the door were all given another coat of white Poly-Tone. The fuselage interior will be painted white next, followed by the final coats of Cub yellow. The next work session will be Wednesday, October 10th at 9:30.
