Cub Work Session #193

In spite of the holiday weekend, we had a good turnout today. Taping of the ailerons continued and is almost complete. The reinforcing tapes under the wing rib laces were given several coats of Poly-Brush. This is done because the reinforcing tapes would otherwise soak up Poly-Brush intended to secure the 2 inch tapes that will go on top. Pre-coating the reinforcing tapes gives later coats a bed to adhere to. Inspection rings were also glued in place. Andrew brought in a kit to make an ADSB-in for the Turbulent. He and Chris assembled and tested it. It works! We also had a visitor who is restoring a Taylorcraft. The next work session will be Wednesday, September 5th at 9:30. There will be no work session the following Saturday, September 8th, due to the workshop.
