Cub Work Session #186

A good turnout this morning resulted in a lot of progress on the Cub. One aileron is now covered and ready for its first coat of Poly-Brush. Covering of the other aileron is also nearly finished. Meanwhile, reinforcing tapes were applied to all of the wing ribs in preparation for rib lacing. The practice frame got more use as we all try to get better at rib lacing before starting on the wing. A shipment of major parts arrived from Univair including new cowlings and fairings. Since they are bare aluminum, we'll have to decide how best to get them painted. The next work session will be Saturday, August 11th at 9:30.
