Freshly returned from Oshkosh, we resumed work on the Cub today. Since there was a show discount, we ordered most of what we will need to finish the Cub while we were there. Today we finished prepunching the holes in the wing in preparation for rib lacing. Meanwhile work continued on covering the ailerons. One of them is almost ready for shrinking. A few of us also tried our hands at rib lacing on our practice box with mixed results. At Oshkosh we had three different people show us how to do it and they all did it differently. We spent the last part of our work session cleaning up everything in preparation for Thursday's chapter meeting which will begin at 5:00 with a cookout followed by a program about the Albatross. The next work session will be Saturday, August 4th at 9:30.
