On Monday and Tuesday of this week several of us went to Neil's shop and worked on spraying the interior and control surfaces. So far we've given two coats of Poly-Brush to the interior and one coat on each side of the control surfaces. Weather will determine when next we can continue spraying. Today work resumed on covering a wing. By the time we quit for the day all of the gluing had been completed and the wing sealed up. Once again the curved wing tip bow took the most time and attention. The next steps will involve shrinking the fabric in stages, cleaning, and applying the first coat of Poly-Brush. Meanwhile, work continued on preparing the ailerons for covering. Epoxy filler was sanded smooth and then actual covering was begun. The next work session will be Saturday, June 30th at 9:30. There will be no work session on Wednesday, July 4th.
