Cub Work Session #177

On Tuesday, Jerry and I met with Joe Halleman at Neil Dickinson's paint booth and got a complete tutorial on using the spray equipment. Although we haven't yet sprayed any actual airplane parts yet, we did spray our test panel and everything worked fine. If weather cooperates, we should be able to do some serious painting next week. Today we continued work on covering the wing. After doing some final gluing and touch up work on the bottom fabric, we rolled out the top fabric and began gluing it in place. Work also continued on smoothing out the epoxy filler patches on the ailerons. A lot of time was also spent getting the chapter hangar ready for this weekend's workshop. Tables were cleared, materials stored away, and the wing moved into the side corner out of the way.
