Cub Work Session #174

With all the prep work complete, we began covering a wing today. The bottom fabric goes on first and is glued to the leading edge. Then the trailing edge is trimmed and fitted around the aileron bay and glued down. The final steps for the bottom fabric will be the butt rib and tip bow which will be done next time. Once that is accomplished we will move on to the top fabric. Overall, we found covering the wing a much easier process than the cabin interior. Work will continue on Wednesday, June 13th at 9:30. Depending on Joe's schedule and the availability of the paint booth, some of us may go spray the fuselage interior while others continue work on covering the wing.
