Cub Work Session #155

A good turnout today resulted in a lot of good progress on the Cub. The time consuming rear side interior fabric is now finally almost done. We’ll be able to do the initial shrinking of the interior next time. Meanwhile, both the rudder and door were basically covered. With completion of the rudder, all the tail feathers are now about ready for the first coat of Polybrush. Chris also brought in a full powder coating kit and started the process of powder coating the aluminum plates that go inside the cabin for throttle, carb heat, etc. One of our newest members, Anthony Ipina, went for his first flight in a small aircraft following our last Cub work session. He attended today’s session and helped Mike figure out his new iPhone. The next session will be Wednesday, March 28th at 9:30.
