Cub Work Session #150

Enough folks showed up today to work on several tasks at once. The slow process of fitting and trimming the complicated upper interior fabric pieces was begun. By the time we stopped for the day the critical seams were glued into place so the rest can be fitted from there and glued next time. Meanwhile, the elevators, which were covered last time, were ironed to their final tautness. With that finished, the elevators were wrapped in protective covering and set aside as attention turned to the horizontal stabilizers. The fabrication of a ground plane for the ELT antenna was also begun. Chris also blasted some aluminum interior plates with walnut shells in preparation for powder coating. The project will continue on Wednesday March 7th at 9:30.
