Seven members came out Saturday morning to work on the Cub. Since we had a good turnout, we decided it was a good time to bring in the left wing. In short order the wing was brought down from its perch in the Zodiac hangar and laid out on tables in the chapter house. While Jerry and Mike worked on varnishing and attaching the new wing tip bow to the right wing, the rest of the crew quickly removed fabric and began dismantling some of the left wing's structure. In the process it was decided we would need to replace the leading edge skins for this wing as well. In the next work session the plan is to finish up with the right wing and move it to the Cub's hangar then continue the process of disassembling and cleaning the left wing. The next session will be Wednesday, December 7th at 9:30.
