Presenter: TFC Kristie Peterson.
Trooper Peterson will give us a tour of their facility including their AugustaWestland AW 139 helicopter. She is expecting us at 7:30.
WE WILL MEET AT OUR HANGAR AS USUAL BEFORE HEADING OVER TO THE MARYLAND
STATE POLICE AVIATION FACILITY. TO GET THERE, HEAD NORTH ON AVIATION WAY
PAST AOPA ALL THE WAY TO THE END. THEIR ENTRANCE IS ON THE LEFT. PARK IN THE
AOPA LOT, NORTH END.
The Frederick Sport Flyers, Inc. have purchased a 1946 Piper J-3-C65 Cub and are planning on a restoration project. Chapter members are invited to participate in this effort which will be conducted in the Chapter hangar. You can find more details in the article published in our April Newsletter. Chapter 524 meets the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the EAA Chapter 524 Aviation Education Center which is located at the Frederick Municipal Airport. As you enter the airport, park in the Terminal Parking lot. Walk south past the flight school (yellow building). There are signs on the end of the second row of hangars for the Chapter. Guests are always welcome.
