Cub Work Session #166

On Tuesday the 15th, Jerry, Mike, and Ernie drove over to Neil Dickenson's shop near Sykesville to see the paint booth he has constructed. He has a very nice setup and has generously offered to let us use it to paint the Cub. Toward that end, we spent today finishing up fabric work on the control surfaces and cabin interior. Mike also continued working on a spacer to prevent the trim cable from rubbing on the interior fabric. We bubble wrapped the completed control surfaces and finished the tricky job of taping the rudder. A new fabric panel was also made that will be used for testing sprayers. Meanwhile, Chris continued the job of replacing the lighting in our Chapter hangar with LED fixtures. There was again some discussion of the logistics and order for painting and next steps for fabric work. No firm decisions yet. The next work session will be Saturday, May 19th at 9:30.
