Today was all about learning rib lacing. First we had to measure out and mark hole locations and attach small pieces of reinforcing tape. That went pretty quickly. It then took us a while to figure out how to tie the knots correctly so that the knot itself would end up on the inside of the control surface. Once we finally had that mastered, the process moved right along. Meanwhile, reinforcing tapes were added to seams in the fuselage and Chris walnut blasted some interior parts. The next work session will be Wednesday, April 18th at 9:30.
