Cub Work Session #160

Another milestone for the Cub today. After carefully cleaning all fabric work we've done so far with MEK, we applied the first coat of Poly-Brush to everything. This included all the tail surfaces, landing gear legs, the door, and the cabin interior. Joe Halleman started us off with a demonstration of exactly how to properly apply the Poly-Brush. After that, everyone just got a brush and went to work. We made good use of our rotisserie to rotate the fuselage to make it easier to paint. Meanwhile, Chris Gunther continued experimenting with his powder coating kit to see if he could powder coat over epoxy primer. The next work session will be Saturday, April 14th at 9:30. We expect to rib stitch control surfaces and then apply tapes along with a second coat of Poly-Brush to everything.
