Cub Work Session #147

Wow, is this process ever time-consuming! The interior fabric on the Cub is one of the most complicated covering jobs on the whole airplane and it has to be done first. Today, almost the entire time was spent just getting the back seam of the headliner panel fitted and glued in place. That seam is the anchor for the rest of the panel and needs to end up straight and centered. Many small cuts and test-fittings were required before final gluing could be accomplished. The rest of the panel should be easier to install now that the seam is in place. The next step will be the upper side panels. The process will continue on Saturday, February 24th at 9:30.
