We began today with helping Steve Gross put the wings on his RV-9A. Steve was well prepared and there was more than enough help, so the whole operation went very smoothly. Seeing that the major part of the installation was complete and that there were more than enough folks to finish the job, some of us went back to work on the Cub. Special nuts Jerry ordered for the engine's exhaust system came in, so those were installed. It was a tricky operation since the nuts had to go on studs that were very difficult to reach with a wrench. A couple of new brackets that will eventually hold the eyebrow cooling baffles were also installed. The next work session will be Wednesday, February 7th at 9:30. More exhaust system work and the gluing of interior fabric will be the next tasks.
