Cub Work Session #133

Engine assembly continued on this cold Wednesday. All of the crankcase bolts were permanently installed and torqued down along with the pushrod housings. Rings were individually placed in the cylinders to measure and adjust gap clearances. This proved to be a time-consuming process and only two sets were finished this session. Parts were ordered that should arrive before the next work session including the propeller bolts. During the next session the engine will be mounted to a stand in preparation for cylinder and accessory case installation. Again due to the holidays, there will be no work session on Saturday the 30th. The next work session will be Wednesday, January 3rd at 9:30.
