Another major milestone was accomplished today with the mating of the wings to the fuselage. It took many hands to wrestle the wings into place and install struts and all the hardware. Fortunately, we had a very good turnout, including Chris Gunther's daughter Sydney. The ailerons were also installed and most of the cables run. We still have more to do on the control system and rigging adjustments to the wings. But right now, it is looking a lot like an airplane, which is really cool! Work will continue on Wednesday, October 4th at 9:30.
