Cub Work Session #62

As of today, the left wing is virtually finished with only a couple of minor items left to be done. It took awhile to finally get the outer leading edge skin to fit tight and flush, but the end result looks great. The control cable has been installed along with most of the fairleads and the pulley. Meanwhile, the good weather allowed us to begin outdoor work on removing paint from the fuselage using the torch and wire brush method. There remains much more to do on that task. The hope is to soon be able to take the fuselage somewhere to be blasted and primed. We are still looking into a couple of places that might be able to do that. The next work session will be Saturday, February 25th at 9:30.
